What is the best book you have read recently? What was the book about? Why did you find it interesting? Would this make a good book for book club? Why or why not?

Lady Q the rise and the fall of the latin queen. The book was about a Latin Queen who is trying to change her life from bad and good. Yes this would make an awesome book for book club because it teaches alot of life lesson about growing up!
ReplyDeleteThe best book ive read recently was "Gone". The book is about a group of kids and their adventures when suddently kids 15 years or older start disapering and its a place called the "FAYZ". I find it interesting because its a misterious book and i think it would be interesting for kids our age. It would make a good book for Book Club because its not so challangeing but it is a good book for kids opur age and very adventurious.
ReplyDeleteThe best book I read was the outsiders. the book was mostly about two groups of boys that were named the Socials and the Greasers. The Socials were the rich people and the greasers were the poor people. Also they had alot of conflicts betweent the two gangs. No Matter what happened the greaser stayed together no ma tter what. it was interesting because it was about friends that supported each other no matter what happened. yeah i think this book will make a good book for book club because it is a good book and it is interesting.

ReplyDeletethe best book ive read so far is daisies in the junkjard becouse its about a gang member that most of his famaly get kiled and then goes to to jail then they rape him in jail and when he gets out the shoot hit and he wont let nobody help him becouse he got HIV and then he did die but then he goes to heaven and gets judged judge by god and stay in heaven.

The book i have read recently was Deep and Dark and Dangerous. It's a book of mystery when these two girls while on vacation meet this girl sissy. She is a very cruel, mean and a bad example to the the little girl. They discover that she died drowing in the lake and the 3rd girl in the photograph the girl saw in the attic. I found it interesting because i like mystery books. This would make a good book for book club because i feel that everyone should read this book.
ReplyDeleteThe book i read recently was The Demonata: Lord Loss. The book is about a teenage boy who likes to play tricks on people. One day his family tells him that they are going to go watch a play, so his parents ask him if he wants to go to see the play and he says no because he doesnt like plays or musicals. When he hears his parents and his sister talking secretly about his sister being scared, he leaves his aunts house after his parents had left him there. When he arrives to his house he feels that somethings wrong. He goes to his parents bedroom to find his father beheaded, his mother sliced and his sister cut in half. They were killed by demons. After a long recovery of the trauma he faced that day- his family being killed by demons infront of him- he has to go live with his uncle. Who later on tells him the secrets of there familys ancestors and the reason for his familys death through out the ages. I find it intresting because its on demons and theres rarely ever any books on demons and this one is by far the best. I think this would be a good book for book club because its something teenagers will enjoy and its gross wich is something alot of people find cool.
ReplyDeleteThe best book I have read recently is Scumble. The book was the sequel to Savvy, it's about a family that gets one magical power when they turn 13. I found it interesting because of all the action the savvy the main character gets causes. I don't think this would make a good book for book club because we would need to read the first book to understand what was going on. But if we started with Savvy it would be a very good book for book club.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best book i've read recently would be The Outsiders.The book was about gangs and through out the story the characters change and in counter big things that affect them and hlped them change.From my view i found it interesting because of the lesson it teached and how some students could releat to it.I think this would be a good book for book club because it would be a book that we could do lots of activities and lots could relate to it through every individual character.
ReplyDeleteThe best book that I have read recently is The Emerald Atlas. It is about a trio of siblings: Kate, the oldest, Michael, the second oldest, and Emma. They are children of the "prophesy". There are three magical books in the world with all magical wisdom. Each child can gain control for each book. The first book of the trilogy is The Emerald Atlas. This would be a good book for the book club, but since it is a little thick it is probably costly too.
ReplyDeleteThe best book I recently read was the Outsiders. The Outsiders is about some boys who mostly do bad stuff. And Ponyboy and his crew have a with the socs problem with each other.I recomend this book to other people who have'nt read this book.
ReplyDeleteThe best book I have read recently was PUSH. This book was about an African American girl that was raped by her father.I found it interesting because it talks about hiv. Umm, I think that this book won't be good for the bookclub because it not school appropiate.
ReplyDeletethe book that i have recently read was Wolves of the Beyond book 3. The book was about a wolf who grew up as a out cast.He was sent to die as a pup,but beat the odds when a grizzly bear saved him. He has made it back to his pack and is now going to be one of the watch wolves. A highly respected position. But now a bear cub has been stolen and the wolves are to blame. Because he was also raised by a bear he must find the one who stole the bear or the wolves will be wiped from the beyound for good. I do not think it will be a good book for book club because it might be a bit hard to read and the others may not like it.
ReplyDeleteMy my best book that i read is Tracking bigfoot.Tracking bigfoot is about the past time to see is that bigfoot is real they had alot adventure to track bigfoot.this book will be a good book for book club because the book is a mystery,adventure,and talk about oh saw bigfoot.why because it will talk about history that they discover a hairy man that had big foot.it was a good book to read.

The book that i read recently is called the hide and shrink.It was about some little monsters playing hide and shrink, but the counter was a vampire, so he found them fast. Also that the last person found was getting attacked by a water monster. why i found it intrersting is because i like monsters.i will not because it is an easy book.
ReplyDeleteThe best book I've read is Walk Two Moons it was about a girl named Sal that her mom left her and her mom left to Idaho,Lewiston and her friend Phoebe she exagerate for everything because when she came one day home from school she found a message on her stairs Sal and Phoebe call the guy that sent the message "lunatic" one day Phoebe's mother left the house and Phoebe wants to call the police.I find it interesting because Sal's and Phoebe's mothers are both missing or they left the house and I wanna know if they ever come back or if something happens to them.I think yes because i want other kids to read the book and to say what they think about it and so they could know what people do when somebody is missing in their family.

I find this book interesting because it's about a vampire named Vladmir Tod and his always fighting other vampires that want to take his power away from Vlad. I think Eight grade bites would makes a good book for the book club because it's interesting and kids would want to read more about Vladmir Tod.
ReplyDeleteOne good book i had read was called, Geronimo Stilton:Cat and mouse in a haunted house.It is about a mouse that was driving in the night and his car got stuck by a haunted house and the house was haunted by a ghost cat.That house had alot of creepy things like a skeleton of a humungus rat, a vampire rat, and a mummy.So then, he called his sister to go and get help. But insted of helping him she started exploring the house.

ReplyDeleteThe best book I have read recently is THE FIRE WITHIN by Criss .d Lacey it is a very interesting book because this guy named David lives in a house where the attendants are obsessed with dragons the have full rooms full of them.When the attendance dauhgter comes which her name is lucy she has her own special dragon but david somehow sees a rasemblance in them. When david learns that Lucy has this friend sqirrel named Conker David helps her they make a trap that will catch Conker but not hurt him. when his annoying neighber Mr. Bacon thinks its rats he also builds a trap but will kill Conker if he comes Lucy worries. All in all I think think this is a good book because it has everything a good novel needs sadness,a hook to get the reader interested and finally dragons.
ReplyDeletethe best book i've read is Holes because it is really intersting because instead being in detencion there diging holes and with weather in the 90s and the only time they drink water is when they are working out in the the sun diging holes wile the warden is in the fresh air .it is a very dangerous place to be because thier are yellow lizards , if they bite you you will die really fast .what is the most intersting is that they blame Stanly for stealing shoes that belong to a famous baseball player.

She moves one day and she is kinda mad and sad about it. later on in the book she meets theis girl Phobe she is very wierd and crazy she belives in lunitics and all that stuff. One day they get they weird messages like you will never know the worth of water untill its gone phobe thinks that it is a lunatic sending the messages. later liike sals mom leaft so does Phobes. this is a story she is telling her gramps and gram while they are going on a road trip to Lewiston Idoho to see her mom for her birthday. this is the book ive read recently
ReplyDeleteThe best book I have read recently is Walk two Moons.The book was about a girl named Salamanca,and her mother had gone away because she had said she wanted to be alone.The book also details that what happened to her also happened to her friend phobe that her mother left and so she was making up things about that Mrs Cadaver her next door neighboor murdered her mom . In the story theres a boy named Ben which salamanca throughly in the story falls in love with him.phobe also blamed a guy that she calls a lunatic, has kidnapped her mom.I found the story walk two moons interesting because it has alot of drama,exciting details,and well conflicts which I can relate to and also makes a great story.I think this would be a good book club book because I think everyone will enjoy it as I do too.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best book ive read reacently was the book "Out of my Mind." This book was about a girl that was sick and couldnt walk or talk but she was really smart even thought no one knew it. She could remember everything not actually "everything" but the basics. But because of her sickness she had to be in a special class and not with the other kids. She didnt like to be in that class because she said it felt like she was in kindergarden. When she turned 11 years old she went to the regular class and she entered a competition. But everyone thought she was going to make there school lose. So they were planning to kick her out. But on the day of her b-day she got a machine that made her be able to talk she just had to type what she wanted to say. So in the end she went to the competion and her school won 1st place. This was an intresting book because i liked how the cover looked and i also read the back of the book. I think this is a good book for the book club because I think the people in the book club would like this book because it is intresting and you can learn new things. And how everyone is diffrent.
ReplyDeleteThe best book i have read recently is called MISS DAISY is Crazy.The book is about this teacher named Miss Daisy that doesn't really knoe anything,doesn't teaches nothing to the students,and does not like school.the students are the ones who would be teaching the teacher things like multiplying,and dividing too.I find it interesting because i haven't read none of those books,this book is my first one that i have read.That is why i find the book interesting.I dont think it would be a good book for the book club because it's not really that long like for our grade but i read those beacuse it is 4.5.The chapters are not really long.That6 is why i dint it's not a good book for the book club.

The book was about a guy named Cole went to a island he went there because he had a problem the problem was that he gets angry just for nothing. When he gets angry he hits someone. When he is in the island like 2 or 3 days he sees a bear when the bear was right there he didnt move at all Cole said "If you get closer ill kill you". When he graved a nife that was beside him he looked where the bear was he wasnt there. The next day he saw him again he graved the nife and went running to him to stab the bear. The bear hurt him not a scratch he broke a pelvis a hand a leg and some of the ribs. Someone took him to the hospital he got all fixed years pass he changed alot he didnt hit someone when he gets angry.He was nice all the time.This book be a good book for book club because it was so interesting to me.

But their parents saved some money in a bank. But a guy wants to marry the oldest daughter to steel the money. I think this book would be good because it intresting

ReplyDeleteThe best book I've read recently is Fableheaven the Shadow Plague. The book is about Kendra a 14 year old, her brother Seth, and their grandparents, and a preserve called fableheaven. That is about to fall, beacause a plague is spreading through the creatures turning them evil. If the family do not destroy the nail from a revenant ont the preserve, everyone on the preserve could die.I think it would be a good book for book club, but then again it wouldn't because it is so long.
ReplyDeleteThe best book I have read recently is called Ivy and Bean and the baby sitting.It is about a girl name Nancy were baby sitting Ivy and Bean and the girls were playing and they wre talking and then they wanted to go the attic then they went and they were now at the attic and they close the little door and when they wre inthere one of the girls wanted to go and get a flashlight the little door was lock and close they couldn't open it and they just scare and they were just sitting and a Ivy feel spiders so do Bean feel the spiders so they scream and Nancy heard them and she din't know were they were so the girls scream again and nancy heard the noise so Nancy went were they were and she open the little door and Ivy and Bean got out and Nancy got mad .I found it interesting because they were stuck in the attic.yes this book make a good book for book club

ReplyDeletea good book series we can all read is the brixton brothers because they are mystery books full of suspense. these books talk about a boy that wants to be a dectective and at the end he solves his first case. his case was about old historic american quilting and the secrets in them. we will know more of this if we read it.

ReplyDeleteThe best book I've read was The Vampire Stalker.Its about this girl that is in love with one of the charectors in the book.Alexander. He is the vampire stalker and their is the other guy witch is a vampire that alexander is chasing.THe charectors are real. Alexander does exsist.The vampire dpes exsist to. alexander falls in love with a teenage girl and puts her in danger. this should be a good bopok for book club because it takes youy to diffrent dementions.
ReplyDeleteThe best book I have read recently is called Schooled. It is about a boy who lived in Garland farm with his Rain (his grandma) until one day Rain falls down a tree. Now Cap ( the boy) is taken to a real school and is exposed to things that he has never heard of. I think this would be a good book for the book club but It has been a B.O.B book.
ReplyDeleteThe best book that I have read so far would have to be The Outsiders. I like like this book a lot because it's about this boy, and his name is Ponyboy. He has a bit of hard life b/c his parents died in a accident so now he has to live w/ his 2 brothers,Darry and Sodapop. He also has other friends, Dally,Johnny,Steve,and Two-Bit. In the old times they were know as "Greasers" b/c they wore gel in their hair a lot so, that's where their name comes from :). They're enemies are the Socs which is a group of rich kids who think jumping the Greasers is a good time :(. I think this book should be included in the Book Club.

ReplyDelete2). The book was about a boy named Darren Shan, and he once went to a secret show called the Cirque De Freak with his friend. He meets a vampire called Larten Crepsley who has a spider named Madam Octa. Darren likes spiders, so he had decided to steal it. However when his friend decides to see the spider, Darren's sister walks in and screams out loud, which causes the spider to bite Darren's friend, and he gets very sick. Eventually the vamipire Mr. Crepsley finds Darren and he wants to punish him. However, Darren makes a deal to become a half-vampire in order to save his sick friend from dying. Also in order fo Darren to leave his family to become a half-vampire, he must fake his death, that way his family thinks that he is dead, when actually he is out in the world as a half-vampire.
3)I really would consider making this book apart of the book club.
4) The reason that I say this is because this book kind of teaches a person to don't steal things that you don't own(that being the central theme of the story).
